A massive fire tore through the Rong Beer Na Lad Phrao restaurant and entertainment venue in the Chom Phon sub-district of Chatuchak, Bangkok, on Sunday, killing at least 28 people and leaving 25 critically injured.
The blaze broke out at the venue on Lat Phrao Road near Soi Lat Phrao 1. Many victims were found trapped inside bathrooms. Numerous others were injured and hospitalized.

Firefighters brought the fire under control in about half an hour as emergency teams responded. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the scene.
