Drunk man knocks out US soldier and assaults second one before arrest in South Korea

A U.S. national in his 30s was arrested after assaulting two American soldiers in Pyeongtaek while intoxicated. The incident happened around 6 a.m. on June 21 in Sinjang-dong. Police say the suspect, identified only as “A,” punched two male U.S. soldiers in their 20s after claiming they ignored and swore at him. A video of the attack spread rapidly online, showing the large-built suspect kicking one soldier, threatening a woman, and punching another in the face, knocking him unconscious.

Pyeongtaek Police arrested him on the spot. He has been booked on assault charges and remains under investigation. The suspect had been living in Korea for an extended period and did not know the victims.
