At least 17 people were injured after a vehicle plowed into a crowd of fans celebrating Mexico’s FIFA World Cup match in Cabo San Lucas. Videos circulating on social media show excited fans surrounding a vehicle and climbing onto its hood moments before the driver suddenly accelerated, striking multiple people. The driver was detained immediately by authorities. Several victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. No fatalities have been reported so far.
