11 killed in skydiving plane crash in Tomblaine, France

A civilian aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Nancy-Essey Airport on Sunday in Tomblaine.

All 11 people on board were killed, including the pilot, five skydiving instructors, and five students taking part in a tandem parachuting experience.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
