Massive fire destroys over 100 homes in Drammen, Norway

A fast-moving fire has destroyed more than 100 homes in a townhouse area in Drammen, Norway, around 40 kilometers southwest of Oslo, police say.

Police warned residents in a nearby residential area to evacuate as the flames spread south.

One firefighter has been taken to hospital with minor injuries; no residents have been reported injured.

Explosions have been heard in the area, and fire helicopters have joined the response.
