Fire breaks out at Spain’s second tallest building, Madrid’s Torre Moeve evacuated

Thick smoke and flames visible from the upper floors of Spain’s second tallest building, the 248-meter Torre Moeve in Madrid, as it was evacuated this afternoon.

The fire broke out in the skyscraper, headquarters of energy company Moeve in the Cuatro Torres Business Area. No injuries have been reported.

Madrid police say the fire is now under control. The cause has not yet been confirmed.
